Mosaic Pattern
This is a photo of a mis-marked RR puppy - as a puppy & a young adult. This type of pattern is called " mosaic". A result of gene malfunction in the embryo. Doesn't hurt the dog, just an oddity I thought I'd share.

Puppies!
Arroyo Seco Rhodesian Ridgebacks announces the birth of an amazing 10 puppy litter whelped one week ago. Mama Rocket (NBISS GCH Arroyo Seco's Race Across America) and daddy Duxie (CH Ridge View's Dux Double Trouble) are very proud of these babies (only 5 are shown in the picture - first shift is nursing now). 7 girls, 3 boys, all ridged (likely 5 or 6 show quality ridges), no kinked tails, no discernible dermoids, palates all good and very little white. Saints Alive!
Went to see Kathy Norfleet's 8.5 week old Saint pups today. So cute and fuzzy! So different in temperament from a pack of Ridgeback pups of that age, too. They mostly slept, played a bit and were so sweet. Step into a pen of RR pups and you'd think you'd fell into a pool of piranhas at that age!
Look at those faces.
I'm pooped.
Forgot what kind of orchid this was...lovely. I want a piece of it, Kathy!

Meet Puma
Puma is Liz Druitt's new puppy. She and I went all the way to KS to pick her up, visit with the litter owner, Cindy, and enjoyed playing with all the other pups.
